Hi to all reading. I'm Lee Woodgate and I am the owner of iGas Heating, a Plumbing Heating and Gas Specialist company based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
Please bare with me as its my first ever go at writing a blog as thankfully I'm better at fixing boilers than I am at writing something interesting.
Basically mine is a slight gripe about trying to find a reliable plumber in Welwyn Garden City. If I had a Pound for every time I've been to see a prospective job/customer where they've said to me "you're the first plumber that's actually turned up" I would not even need to get my tools out every day and could drive around in a Ferrari. It seems that many Plumbers in Welwyn Garden City are either far too well off to turn up or they simply just do not care about letting people down.
I know from first hand experience how frustrating it is when you book a day off to wait in for someone or something, for example even lets say a delivery that doesn't show, and you don't receive so much as a text or email to say that they won't be coming. This is something that I personally find extremely disappointing and is one of the core values I try to work by at iGas Heating. Now we all know that life can get in the way sometimes, sometimes things happen and I myself being a parent to 2 young sons know how hard it is to juggle a business and family life and things can come out of nowhere which we can't do anything about, but for me the simple courtesy of at least contacting people to let them know that you can't make it usually goes a long way in softening the blow. It seems common courtesy has deserted many Plumbers in Welwyn Garden City, and that is why, when deciding to set up iGas Heating, I decided that one of the things I would base my company on is reliability. Priding myself that I will turn up when I say I will, do the job when I say I will, and leave any fuss or convenience at a complete minimum :)
